Question : My wife lives in Detroit, Michigan and I live in Windsor, Ontario. She got offered a job here in Windsor (borer city with Detroit) and for the next year to two years she will still live in Detroit until her youngest is off to college then move to Canada so essentially she will be a daily cross border commuter who works in Canada but resides in the US. My question is how do taxes work I understand that there is nome type of law where you are not double taxed but how does this work?
